President Quezon fought long and hard for our independence until the signing of the Tydings-McDuffie Act the year before.
He is married to Aurora Aragon Quezon.
His grandson, Manual Luis Casas Quezon III, was a former undersecretary of the Presidential Communications Group during the term of President Benigno Aquino III.
