1897 Basilan earthquake

The 1897 Mindanao twin earthquakes occurred on September 20 & 21. It struck the south of Basilan island with destructive 7.4 - 7.5 magnitude earthquakes. 

Both earthquakes sent out massive tsunamis as far as southwest coast of Negros island, Panay, Palawan, and even the east coast of Borneo which caused deaths and casualties.
